The Gift of Individual Attention

"Tutoring boys is rewarding. They like games and competition. Their smiles tell you they're glad you are helping them learn."

Bill Riesmeyer, Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries Tutor

At the beginning of tutoring when all the kids arrive at tutoring first grader Adam Cortez always asks who his tutor will be for that day (it’s always one of two people).  Once he is told who it will be he always exclaims, “YES!” as he pulls his raised fists down toward his waist in excitement.  He loves having the individual attention of a tutor.
