Mother of a Little

From a Big Brothers/Big Sisters Mother:
Being a parent of a Little has meant a lot to me and to my daughter, mainly because it gives my daughter a view of life from different angles.  Her Big Sister is awesome and a true kid at heart with a serious side when need be.  Nothing else means as much to my daughter as having a Big Sister, and I believe they were truly meant for each other.

From the child:  (8years old)
I like this program because you get to have a Big Sister and it has done a lot for me.  My Big Sister makes me feel stronger inside and like that I can tell her what is wrong.  I feel like she is my real big sister.  She is really nice and really fun and good to me and she gets me to try new things.  She loves me too.
